Dr Grant Cracknell
Dr Grant Cracknell completed his undergraduate science degree at the University of Melbourne before completing his medical training at the University of Queensland. He currently works as a full time VMP Endocrinologist at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. His practice covers general endocrinology with a special interest in Type 1 diabetes and insulin pumps, and osteoporosis.
Dr Cracknell is co-author of the thyroid, adrenal and parathyroid chapters in General Practice: An Integrative Approach Phelps K, Hassed C ISBN: 9780729538046
Dr Cracknell is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, The Australian Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society, the European Society of Endocrinology, and the American Society for Bone Mineral Research
Dr Samantha Donaldson
Dr Samantha Donaldson is a Consultant Endocrinologist. She provides outpatient consultation at Spring Hill Endocrinology and inpatient endocrinology care at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. She also works as a Senior Medical Officer at The Prince Charles Hospital.
Dr Donaldson completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and has worked in both Australia and Malaysia. Her physician training was undertaken at the Royal Brisbane
and Women’s and Mater Hospitals.
Dr Donaldson practices in general endocrinology and has a special interest in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, insulin pump therapy and osteoporosis.
She is active in medical student education as an Associate Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Qld. She is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, The Australian Diabetes Society and The Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society.
Dr Jasmine Lin
Dr Jasmine Lin is a graduate of the University of Queensland. She undertook her general medical training at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Dr Lin completed specialist Endocrinology training at various locations in Queensland including Cairns Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital before receiving her Fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
She is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and American Endocrine Society. Dr Lin also has a public appointment at Ipswich Hospital and is currently involved in establishing the community diabetes service which focuses on preventative care.
She has a special interest in complex diabetes care and weight loss, as well as thyroid and adrenal conditions
Dr Rachel Johnston
Dr Rachel Johnston is a qualified endocrinologist and Fellow of Royal Australian College of Physicians and she is excited to join Spring Hill Endocrinology.
Dr Johnston graduated from medical school at University of Queensland and completed endocrinology advanced training between Sunshine Coast University Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
Rachel practices in general endocrinology with special interest in pituitary medicine, osteoporosis and endocrinology hypertension.
She has a keen interest in medical student and junior medical officer education and is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland.
